State Charitable Campaign 

United Way of Southwest Oklahoma is proud to partner with the State of Oklahoma as the administrator of the State Charitable Campaign (SCC) to offer an efficient, accountable way for state employees to contribute to charities at the workplace.

Every year, state employees have the opportunity to designate funds to one or more charities at the workplace through the state campaign, governed by a board of directors made up of state employees. Funds designated help support hundreds of charities that have met the criteria as set forth by the state of Oklahoma. By contributing to the SCC, you are joining the fight to improve quality of life for all Oklahomans through accessible health and human services programs. Together, we can build an even better Oklahoma!

The State Charitable Campaign is governed by the Oversight Committee for State Employee Charitable Contributions (OCSECC), comprised of state employee appointees, which acts as the campaign’s board of directors, approving charities to participate, overseeing campaign procedures, and contracting with a non-profit organization to manage the campaign annually (United Way of Central Oklahoma). The annual State Employee Charitable Campaign (SCC) includes several federations and affiliated partner agencies that must be approved each year in order to participate.

United Way of Southwest Oklahoma Federation

  • 7567 Center For Creative Living, Inc. - Provides nutrition, wellness, education, social engagement, and support services that promote independence, dignity, and quality of life for older adults. - lessening isolation and depression.

  • 7552 CASA of Southwest Oklahoma - Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) recruits, screens, and trains community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in foster care.

  • 7554 Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, Inc. - Social services for children, adults, families: including adoption; case management; counseling; disaster recovery; homeless services; immigration services; safety net rent and utility assistance.

  • 7560 Last Frontier Council: Boy Scouts of America - Boy Scouts’ youth development program prepares youth to make ethical choices over their lifetime, using various activities to address their physical, mental, and spiritual needs.

  • 7562 Lawton Food Bank - Alleviating hunger and strengthening community stability by providing nutritious food, resource connections, and supportive services to individuals and families facing food insecurity in Southwest Oklahoma.

  • 7550 United Way of Southwest Oklahoma - Mobilize the caring power of the community by partnering with local nonprofits to provide 20 programs that support education, income stability, health, and basic needs.
