Official Contest Rules and Regulations
- PURCHASE NECESSARY. To win, one must purchase a raffle ticket and have it entered into the drawing. Odds of winning are based on the number of entries received. Tickets will be entered into a drawing and winner does NOT need to be present to win. Drawing to be held on November 15th, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Classic Lawton Chevrolet, located at 8308 NW Cache Road, Lawton Oklahoma 73505. The winner will be notified within five (5) days of the Selection Date using the email address and/or phone number provided when the winning ticket was purchased. Winner must respond to the notification within five (5) days of the date of transmission of the notification. If winner does not respond by the required timeframe, a second ticket will be drawn at random on Monday, November 22nd, with the same notification and response requirements as above. If second ticket winner does not claim Prize, a third and final ticket will be drawn at random on Monday, November 29th. The vehicle will be presented to the winner on November 30th, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Classic Lawton Chevrolet.
- Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Contest Rules.
- One (1) Prize Winner will receive his/her 2020 Chevrolet Trax from Classic Lawton Chevrolet (Dealer). There is no cash alternative in lieu of the vehicle. The approximate retail value of the prize is $23,000.00.
- To claim Prize, winner must be 18 years of age or older and must provide a copy of a current, valid driver’s license and a copy of their winning ticket stub. The winner is responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes, fees, and other government assessments on the awarded Prize. The withholding laws in effect at the time the Prize is claimed will be followed, and the winner of the Prize will be issued an Internal Revenue Service Form W-2G by United Way of Southwest Oklahoma, which winner will be required to sign at a time and place determined by UWSWOK in its sole discretion.
- Employees, agents, representatives, or affiliates of the dealership, its affiliates, participating sponsors, and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible to win. The term “immediate family members” includes, spouses, parents, siblings, grandparents, children, grandchildren, and cohabitating significant others. Employees of United Way of Southwest Oklahoma and their “Immediate family members” as defined above, are not eligible to win. All federal, state, and local laws apply.
- By entering this Contest, you authorize Dealer and/or UWSWOK to contact you by phone (calls may be monitored and recorded), automated phone equipment, and/or pre-recorded messages, mail, and email about this Contest.
- Winner acknowledges that United Way of Southwest Oklahoma (UWSWOK) and Classic Lawton Chevrolet (Dealer) shall have the right to use winner’s name, likeness and voice in promoting that he/she is the winner in print, broadcast, online, and on social media. The prize winner must sign a standard release form providing United Way of Southwest Oklahoma with their address, telephone number, and email address.
- Winner expressly releases Dealer, Classic Lawton Chevrolet, United Way of Southwest Oklahoma and their affiliated companies and organizations, parents, subsidiaries, agents, or contractors and their employees, board members, officers, and directors from any and all claims, demands, damages, and/or liability of any nature whatsoever that winner has or claims to have relating to the herein Contest, and without limitation, any and all known or unknown claims for damages or injuries arising out of said Contest, whether founded in fact or in law.
- United Way of Southwest Oklahoma is the sole judge of all matters pertaining to this Contest and reserves the right to change the rules and/or discontinue the Contest at any time without notice. All decisions by United Way of Southwest Oklahoma are final.
- Dealer and UWSWOK reserve the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant it finds to be tampering with the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation with these Official Rules. By entering the Contest, on behalf of himself or herself and his or her heirs, assignees, executors, and administrators, agrees (1) to be bound by these Official Rules; (2) that the decisions of Dealer and UWSWOK are final and binding in all respects; and (3) to release and hold harmless Dealer and UWSWOK and their respective parents, partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, agents, board members, employees, advertising agencies and all others associated with the development and execution of the Contest (“Released Parties”) from and against any and all liability with respect to, or in any way arising from, the Contest and/or use of the prize(s), including , without limitation, liability for personal injury, damage or loss, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss of any direction; participation in this Contest or in any activity from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss or misdirection of any prize; participation in this Contest is compromised by virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, or any other cause beyond the control of Dealer or UWSWOK such that the Contest cannot be conducted as originally planned, Dealer and UWSWOK reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest by posting a notice to the Dealer’s website. In such event, prize winner will be selected in a random drawing composed of all eligible entries received prior to (and/or after, if appropriate) the action taken by Dealer and UWSWOK.
