Loaned Executives

What is a Loaned Executive (LE)?
A Loaned Executive (LE) is a special volunteer who's time is donated from a local business, government agency, or service or educational organization. They give their expertise and energy to help reach new accounts and broaden the base of financial support, thus supporting United Way’s commitment to improving lives within our community. The Loaned Executive functions jointly as a volunteer and as a well-informed executive consultant.  LEs serve as an extension of the United Way staff during the Annual Campaign.

Loaned Executives help create, build, and sustaining relationships with companies and organizations that participate in the campaign. The Loaned Executive assignment generally begins in August and ends in November. In return, United Way provides a unique training program which develops communications, sales and leadership skills. The program is a worthwhile investment for the company, the Loaned Executive, and the community as a whole.
