Last year donors, just like YOU, made it possible for UWSWOK, our funded partners, and collaborative initiatives to serve 94,995 individuals in our community! Your donation will make a lasting change in our community by giving a child a book so that they can be ready to learn when they enter school, provide a haven for those facing homelessness, feed those struggling with hunger, provide a safe place for a family fleeing domestic violence, give life-saving medication to a person without medical insurance, provide counseling to an individual facing depression, provide an advocate for a child who has been a victim of abuse and neglect, provide second chances for teens who have made bad decisions, provide an after school program so that children do not go home alone, provide legal assistance for an individual facing eviction, provide a child a place in a local boy scout and girl scout troop, provide a place for senior citizens to stay active physically and mentally, and provide the Lawton Public Schools with an opportunity to have a swim team.
